promo cards
Giveaway game inserts
Promo cards are special editions of trading cards or collectible card game cards distributed outside regular packs—through tournaments, magazine inserts, store purchases, or special events.
They often feature alternate artwork, exclusive characters, or limited-run variants that make them desirable to collectors: I got a promo card with my preorder.
The scarcity and unique designs give promo cards value beyond their gameplay utility.
