prismoid
Parallel-faced polyhedron
A prismoid is a solid figure with two parallel faces (bases) that are polygons, connected by sides that are triangles or trapezoids.
Unlike a prism, the bases need not be identical—they can differ in size or even number of sides, as long as they're parallel.
The term appears mainly in geometry and engineering calculations for earthwork volumes.
