plantsmen
Skilled garden cultivators
Plantsmen is the plural of plantsman, a person with expert knowledge of plants and gardening.
The term suggests deep practical experience rather than just academic botany—someone who knows how to grow things, not just identify them.
The plantsmen at the nursery helped me choose drought-tolerant varieties.
Plantswoman and the gender-neutral plantspeople also exist.
