Perfumers are people who create perfumes, either as artisans who blend fragrances or as professionals in the fragrance industry.
The term covers both those who manufacture perfumes commercially and those who develop new scent compositions: The perfumers at the French house spent years developing the signature fragrance.
A master perfumer, sometimes called a "nose," possesses exceptional olfactory skills.
