Five-square puzzle pieces
Pentominoes are geometric puzzle pieces, each formed by joining five squares edge to edge.
There are twelve distinct shapes, typically labeled with letters they resemble: F, I, L, N, P, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.
The classic puzzle challenges you to fit all twelve pieces into a rectangle without gaps or overlaps.
We spent the afternoon solving pentomino puzzles.
