logic puzzles
Deduction-based mental exercises
Logic puzzles are problems solved through deductive reasoning rather than specialized knowledge or calculation.
They present a set of clues or constraints, and the solver must work out what must be true given those conditions.
Classic types include grid puzzles where you match categories (The person who owns the cat lives next to the blue house), sequence problems, and truth-teller/liar scenarios.
Sudoku is a logic puzzle; so are many riddles.
