pentahedron
Solid, five faces
A pentahedron is a three-dimensional solid figure with five flat faces.
The most familiar example is a square pyramid, which has four triangular sides and a square base.
Unlike more regular polyhedra such as cubes or tetrahedra, pentahedra can take various forms depending on the shapes of their constituent faces.
The term appears primarily in geometry and crystallography.
