peepshow
Slot-fed spectacle booth
A peepshow is an exhibition viewed through a small opening, traditionally a box with a lens showing pictures or scenes inside.
The term now primarily refers to coin-operated booths where customers watch erotic performances or films through a window: The old Times Square was lined with peepshows and adult theaters.
By extension, any voyeuristic glimpse into private matters.
