G-rated
Safe for kids
G-rated describes content suitable for all audiences, including children—free of violence, profanity, sexual content, or other mature themes.
The term comes from the G rating in the American film classification system, where G stands for "general audiences." It extends beyond movies to describe anything wholesome or family-friendly: Keep it G-rated—there are kids present, a G-rated joke.
