palmtop
Handheld digital device
A palmtop is a computer small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
The term emerged in the late 1980s and 1990s for pocket-sized devices with tiny keyboards, before smartphones absorbed their functions.
Now largely historical: I wrote half my dissertation on a palmtop during my commute.
