new jack swing
Hip-hop soul fusion
New jack swing is a style of popular music from the late 1980s and early 1990s that fuses R&B vocals with hip-hop beats and production techniques.
Artists like Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, and Bell Biv DeVoe defined the sound, which dominated urban radio before giving way to other R&B styles.
That song has such a new jack swing vibe.
