Jodeci
Nineties R&B quartet
Jodeci was an American R&B group from the early 1990s, known for pioneering the "new jack swing" sound that blended hip-hop beats with soul vocals.
The group consisted of two pairs of brothers—DeVante Swing, Dalvin DeGree, K-Ci, and JoJo—and produced hits like "Forever My Lady" and "Cry for You." Their influence on contemporary R&B remains significant: That slow jam sounds like something straight off a Jodeci album.
