neurotypicality
Typical brain function
Neurotypicality is the state of having a brain that functions in ways considered standard or typical—without conditions like autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
The term emerged from disability and neurodiversity discourse, where it provides a neutral way to describe the majority pattern without implying it's the only valid one: Neurotypicality isn't the goal; accommodation is.
