nanobubble

Minuscule air pocket

A nanobubble is an extremely small gas bubble suspended in liquid, typically less than a micron in diameter.

Unlike ordinary bubbles, nanobubbles remain stable for extended periods rather than rising and popping.

They're used in water treatment, agriculture, and medical applications: Nanobubble technology improves oxygen delivery to plant roots.
