mud bogging
Off-road muck sport
Mud bogging is a motorsport where drivers race vehicles—typically trucks or ATVs—through pits of deep mud.
The goal is either to cross the pit fastest or travel the farthest before getting stuck.
Vehicles are often modified with oversized tires, raised suspensions, and powerful engines.
The activity is popular in rural America as both organized competition and weekend recreation: We spent Saturday mud bogging at the fairgrounds.
