microfarads
Tiny charge storage
Microfarads is the plural of microfarad, a unit of electrical capacitance equal to one millionth of a farad.
Capacitors—components that store electrical charge—are commonly measured in microfarads because the farad itself is impractically large for most applications: a 100-microfarad capacitor.
Abbreviated μF or uF.
