megablock
Giant building piece
A megablock is an exceptionally large building or urban development, typically a massive residential or commercial complex that dominates its surroundings.
In urban planning, megablocks are superblocks—oversized city blocks that consolidate what would normally be multiple smaller blocks into a single unit, often with internal streets or courtyards.
The term also appears in geology for large displaced rock masses and in construction for oversized modular building units.
