masked killer
Disguised homicidal figure
A masked killer is a murderer who conceals their identity behind a mask, most often encountered as a horror movie trope: the silent, relentless figure in a hockey mask or pale white face stalking victims.
The masked killer emerged from the shadows.
The term appears in true crime contexts too, describing actual perpetrators who wore masks during their crimes.
