lunge jumps
Leaping alternating splits
Lunge jumps are a plyometric exercise combining a lunge with an explosive jump.
From a lunge position—one leg forward, one back—you leap upward and switch leg positions mid-air, landing in a lunge on the opposite side.
The movement builds leg strength, power, and cardiovascular endurance: My trainer added lunge jumps to the circuit and my quads were burning.
