lunger
One who thrusts
A lunger is someone or something that lunges—makes a sudden forward thrust or movement: The lunger nearly knocked me off balance.
In fencing, a lunger favors aggressive thrusting attacks.
Historically, lunger was slang for a person with tuberculosis or other serious lung disease, from the affected organ rather than the motion.
