loges
Private theater seating
Loges is the plural of loge, a small private seating area in a theater or concert hall, typically a box or enclosed balcony offering a premium view.
Loges are positioned along the sides or rear of the auditorium, separate from general seating: We splurged on loges for the opera.
The term comes from French and retains its French pronunciation.
