Tyrolean coat fabric
Loden is a thick, water-resistant woolen cloth, typically in a muted grayish-green color.
The fabric originated in Austria for outdoor garments, and the distinctive color has become so associated with it that loden often refers to the shade itself: a loden coat, loden green.
The material remains popular for traditional European hunting and hiking wear.
