ledging
Creating narrow shelves
Ledging is the act of standing or perching on a ledge, typically at a dangerous height.
The term appears most often in contexts of risky behavior—teenagers ledging on building edges for photos or thrills.
It can also describe the technical climbing move of using narrow ledges for footholds: She was ledging her way across the rock face.
