learning stations
Classroom rotation spots
Learning stations are designated areas in a classroom where students rotate through different activities or tasks, each focused on a particular skill or aspect of a lesson.
The approach breaks instruction into segments, letting students work independently or in small groups while the teacher monitors or leads one station directly.
The kids moved to the next learning station when the timer went off.
Also called centers or learning centers.
