think-pair-share

Student exchange learning

Think-pair-share is a classroom technique where students first consider a question individually, then discuss their thoughts with a partner, then share conclusions with the larger group.

The structure moves from private reflection to small-group testing to public presentation: We'll use think-pair-share for this problem—take a minute to work it out, then turn to your neighbor.
