land breeze
Shore-to-sea airflow
A land breeze is a coastal wind that blows from land toward sea, typically at night.
As land cools faster than water after sunset, cooler air flows seaward to replace rising warm air over the ocean.
The opposite of a sea breeze, which blows landward during the day.
