kinetosis
Travel-induced nausea syndrome
Kinetosis is the medical term for motion sickness—the nausea, dizziness, and discomfort caused by movement in vehicles, boats, or amusement rides.
The condition results from conflicting signals between what the eyes see and what the inner ear senses: She took medication for kinetosis before the cruise.
