jazz bass
Offset-body electric instrument
A jazz bass is an electric bass guitar design introduced by Fender in 1960, distinguished by its offset body, two single-coil pickups, and slim neck.
The dual pickups allow blending tones from different positions, producing a brighter, more articulate sound than the Precision Bass.
Despite the name, jazz bass guitars appear across all genres: He plays a vintage jazz bass in a metal band.
