interzonal
Crossing zone boundaries
Interzonal means between or connecting different zones.
The term appears in contexts where areas are formally divided: interzonal trade agreements, interzonal bus routes, interzonal chess tournaments.
During the Cold War, interzonal often described movement or commerce between occupation zones in divided Germany.
