iglu
Frozen block shelter
Iglu is an alternate spelling of igloo, the dome-shaped shelter built from blocks of compacted snow, traditionally used by Inuit peoples in Arctic regions.
This spelling more closely reflects the Inuktitut word.
The hunters constructed an iglu to wait out the storm.
