hydrometeor

Water from sky

A hydrometeor is any form of water or ice particle in the atmosphere—rain, snow, hail, sleet, fog, mist, or dew.

The term is technical, used in meteorology to classify precipitation and suspended water particles collectively: The radar detected hydrometeors at various altitudes.

Cloud droplets and ice crystals also qualify.
