Hubbly-bubbly is a hookah or water pipe used for smoking flavored tobacco.
The name imitates the bubbling sound water makes as smoke passes through it.
The term is playful and informal, more common in British English and parts of Africa and the Middle East: We shared a hubbly-bubbly after dinner.
