holy family
Spiritually pure kin
A holy family is any family considered sacred or exceptionally devout within a religious tradition.
The phrase sometimes appears in lowercase when used generically or when referring to idealized religious households: They tried to model themselves as a holy family. (Capitalized Holy Family refers specifically to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.)
