hiphuggers
Jeans below navel
Hiphuggers are pants or other lower-body garments designed to sit low on the waist, resting at or below the hipbones rather than at the natural waistline.
Popular in the 1960s and again in the late 1990s and early 2000s, they expose more of the midriff and lower abdomen than traditional high-waisted styles.
She paired her hiphuggers with a cropped top.
The term is sometimes spelled as two words or hyphenated.
