heel brake
Rear wheel drag
A heel brake is the rubber stopper mounted at the back of an inline skate or roller skate, pressed against the ground by lifting the toe and dropping the heel to slow down or stop.
It's the most basic braking method for beginners: I'm still learning to use the heel brake instead of just running into walls.
