toe pick
Skate's front serrations
Toe pick refers to the jagged teeth at the front of a figure skating blade, used to grip the ice during jumps and spins: She dug in with her toe pick and launched into a triple lutz.
Outside skating, it's sometimes used as a playful exclamation, popularized by the film *The Cutting Edge*: Toe pick!
