head shaving
Baldness by choice
Head shaving is the act of removing all hair from the scalp, typically with a razor or electric clipper.
People shave their heads for various reasons—fashion, religious observance, solidarity with someone undergoing chemotherapy, or military tradition.
The practice can be voluntary or imposed as punishment or humiliation: Collaborators had their heads shaved after the liberation.
