ham steak
Thick pork cut
A ham steak is a thick slice cut crosswise from a cured ham, typically about half an inch to an inch thick.
Unlike a full ham roast, it's portioned for quick cooking—pan-fried, grilled, or broiled—and serves one or two people: I'll just throw a ham steak in the skillet for dinner.
