hallmate

Shared corridor resident

A hallmate is someone who lives in the same dormitory hall or corridor.

The term appears almost exclusively in college and university contexts, where students sharing a floor or wing of a residence hall become hallmates: I'm grabbing dinner with some hallmates tonight.
