great-uncles
Parents' uncles collectively
Great-uncles is the plural of great-uncle, a sibling of one's grandparent.
The term follows the pattern of adding "great-" to indicate one generation further back than an uncle.
My great-uncles all served in World War II.
Also spelled great uncles or granduncles.
