graftable
Ready for joining
Graftable describes something capable of being grafted—joined to another living thing so they grow together.
The term appears most often in horticulture, where a cutting from one plant is attached to another's rootstock: Most apple varieties are graftable onto dwarf rootstock.
In medicine, graftable tissue can be successfully transplanted: The surgeon determined the skin was graftable.
