genderbender
Norm defying person
A genderbender is a person who defies conventional expectations about gender presentation—through clothing, behavior, appearance, or identity.
The term emerged in the 1980s and can describe drag performers, androgynous dressers, or anyone whose gender expression crosses traditional boundaries: She's always been a bit of a genderbender.
Also spelled gender-bender or gender bender.
