geeking
Deep-diving enthusiastically
Geeking is obsessing over or enthusiastically diving into something, typically a niche interest: I've been geeking out over vintage synthesizers all week.
The term comes from geek culture, where passionate expertise is celebrated rather than mocked.
In drug slang, geeking can mean being high on stimulants, especially crack cocaine, or the jittery, paranoid behavior that accompanies such use.
