gag reels
Filmed flub collections
Gag reels are compilations of bloopers, flubbed lines, and on-set mishaps from film or television productions.
They typically appear as bonus features on DVDs or streaming platforms, showing actors breaking character, forgetting dialogue, or dissolving into laughter.
The gag is the joke or mistake; the reel is the film footage: The gag reel was funnier than the movie itself.
