future prediction

Future prediction is forecasting what will happen—a redundant phrase since prediction already implies futurity.

The doubling adds emphasis or clarity in contexts where it might otherwise be ambiguous: The software's future prediction capabilities rely on machine learning.

Often the redundancy is unnecessary, and prediction alone suffices.
