fronton
Jai alai court
A fronton is a building housing a court for jai alai or pelota, typically featuring a high wall against which the ball is played.
The word comes from Spanish, where it names both the wall itself and the arena.
In architecture, fronton is occasionally used for a pediment or triangular ornament above a door or window.
