FreeCell is a solitaire card game where all cards are dealt face-up into eight columns, with four empty cells serving as temporary holding spaces.
Unlike most solitaire variants, nearly every deal is winnable with correct play—the challenge is finding the sequence that works.
The game became widely known through its inclusion in Microsoft Windows.
