four stroke
Intake compression power
Four stroke describes an internal combustion engine that completes its power cycle in four distinct piston movements: intake, compression, combustion, and exhaust.
Most car engines and many motorcycles use four-stroke designs: a four-stroke outboard motor.
The term distinguishes these engines from simpler two-stroke engines, which complete the cycle in half the movements.
