floor waxing
Buffing hard surfaces
Floor waxing is the process of applying wax to a floor surface to protect it and give it a shine.
The practice is most associated with hardwood and linoleum floors, where periodic waxing maintains appearance and creates a protective layer against scuffs and moisture.
The janitor does the floor waxing every Friday night after the building closes.
