flatearther
Spherical planet skeptic
A flatearther believes the Earth is flat rather than spherical, rejecting established science in favor of conspiracy theories about government cover-ups and faked space exploration.
The term is often used dismissively for anyone who denies overwhelming scientific consensus: Arguing with him about vaccines is pointless—he's basically a flatearther.
